Raven's Knoll

Raven’s Knoll is a unique campground located near Eganville, Ontario. This beautiful, natural 100 acre property is located on the Bonnechere River, with beach swimming and access to both Wilber and Golden Lake. The campground is level and well-drained, with whispering white pines providing shade. Raven’s Knoll offers a number of amenities, such as:

  • a playground (with swings, slides, 70’s metal rocket ship, and sandbox)

  • men’s and women’s comfort stations each with 2 toilets and 2 sinks

  • bicycles

  • potable water taps

  • onsite food truck (Ye Aulde Grubbe)

 

Also available for a small fee:

  • 2 coin operated showers in each comfort station

  • laundry facilities

  • trailers for rent

  • bags of ice

  • Campsites with electrical hook ups  (reduced cost if for CPAP only)

Raven’s Knoll Directions

Address: 10441 Highway #60, RR 6, Eganville, Ontario, K0J 1T0

The property is just a few minutes outside of Eganville, Ontario, on highway 60 heading towards Algonquin Park. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to Raven’s Knoll from Ottawa, about 4.0 hours from Toronto, and 3.5 hours from Montreal.

 

From Ottawa

  1. Take the Queen’s Way westbound (Hwy 417) to Renfrew

  2. Turn left on Hwy 60 and continue on it through Renfrew

  3. Follow Hwy 60 through Douglas (a sharp right turn)

  4. Follow Hwy 60 through Kelly’s Corners (a sharp left turn)

  5. Follow Hwy 60 through Eganville

  6. You will pass Wilbur Lake on your left

  7. Raven’s Knoll is on the left just after Wilbur Lake at 10441 Hwy 60

 

The trip takes about 1.5 hours from downtown Ottawa.

 

From Toronto

  1. Leave Toronto heading East on the 401

  2. In Belleville, take exit 543B to take Highway 62 North

  3. In Madoc, follow the signs to stay on Highway 62, until you get to Highway 7

  4. In Madoc, turn right on Highway 7 heading East

  5. In Kaladar, turn left on Highway 41 heading North

  6. Take Highway 41 through Eganville

  7. Just across the bridge is a T-junction for Highway 60, turn left onto Highway 60 westbound

  8. You will pass Wilber Lake on your left

  9. Raven’s Knoll is on the left just after Wilber Lake

 

The trip takes about 4.0 hours from downtown Toronto.

From Montreal

  1. Take Highway 40 out of Montreal

  2. Highway 40 becomes Highway 417 in Ontario

  3. Take Highway 417 through Ottawa to Renfrew

  4. Turn left on Highway 60 and continue on it through Renfrew

  5. Follow Highway 60 through Douglas (sharp right turn)

  6. Follow Highway 60 through Kelly’s Corners (sharp left turn)

  7. Follow Highway 60 through Eganville

  8. You will pass Wilbur Lake on your left

  9. Raven’s Knoll is on the left just after Wilbur Lake at 10441 Highway 60

 

The ride should be about 3.5 hours.
